The start of the 2020 USL League One season has been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Further updates are set to be communicated in June.
In addition to the League One Delay, the League also announced the cancellation of the USL Academy Cup national event, which was set to take place in Tampa on May 22-25. Triumph SC was set to field a team of local youth all-stars in the inaugural event.
Greenville Triumph Soccer Club continues to have discussions with the league office, fellow League One clubs, and local health officials as they continue to monitor the situation. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.

In accordance with CDC guidelines and with approval from USL League One governors, the start of the 2020 season will be delayed indefinitely.
GTSC continues to work with the league and local health officials to evaluate the situation and will provide further information on a season start date as it becomes available.
Additionally, the U.S. Open Cup has been indefinitely delayed, affecting the match that was scheduled for April 7 against New Mexico United. The league continues to have dialogue with the Open Cup on a possible start to the competition later this year.
The ever-changing situation means that we're still unsure of exactly how the season schedule will be reshaped. The league is having daily communications with leadership from each club, and the goal will be to play all or as many matches as possible once the league and the club can resume operations in a manner that is safe for all.
All USL Academy Cup activity is currently suspended, and the USL announced the cancellation of the national event, originally scheduled for May 22-25 in Tampa, Florida.

Triumph sales team members have begun to reach out to those group and corporate leaders affected by the suspension, and will continue to work to reschedule those applicable opportunities for later in the season.
If you've purchased tickets to an individual match impacted by the suspension, they will be honored on the rescheduled date.
In addition to the suspension of the 2020 season start and Academy Cup practice, the club has suspended community appearances, pop-up shops, clinics, etc. in accordance with CDC recommendations. Fans looking to purchase merchandise may still do so at shopgreenvilletriumph.com.
Yes. Your printed tickets, which will be available for pickup at the to-be-rescheduled Season Launch Party, will be scanned the same for rescheduled match even though the dates will not match up due to tickets being previously printed.
In addition, parking passes for impacted matches will be honored on the rescheduled date.
As soon as the 2020 schedule is updated and play is scheduled to resume, the club will post information on an exchange policy for impacted matches.
