Defender Transfers to Lexington SC after making 15 appearances for Greenville Triumph SC in 2026
Greenville, SC (August 25, 2026) – Defender Patrick Seagrist is set to finish the 2026 season in the USL Championship with Lexington SC following a midseason transfer from Greenville Triumph SC for an undisclosed fee.
“Patrick has been a valued member of our club, and we are grateful for everything he has contributed to the Greenville Triumph both on and off the field. We have a tremendous amount of respect for Patrick and wish him nothing but success in this next opportunity. From a roster standpoint, this move also gives us additional flexibility as we look to strengthen our group in key positions for the final stretch of the season,” said President Zach Prince.
Seagrist joined Greenville ahead of the 2026 season with extensive MLS and USL Championship experience. The Streamwood, Illinois, native was selected 10th overall by the New York Red Bulls in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft and later played for Indy Eleven, Memphis 901 FC, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and FC Tulsa. Across three seasons with Tulsa, he made 58 appearances and entered 2026 with more than 9,500 regular-season USL Championship minutes. With Greenville, Seagrist appeared in 15 matches, making 14 starts and recording 1,154 minutes.
