Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph have added goalkeeper Armando Quezada to the club’s inaugural season roster, pending league and federation approval.
“I am very excited to be part of this inaugural team,” said Quezada. “I think it’s an awesome opportunity to join a new football club that clearly wants to build something special here in Greenville. I can only be thankful to the coaching staff and club for giving this opportunity to contribute to this club’s mission to establish a winning team, on and off the field, for many years to come.”
Quezada attended the University of California-Davis. During the 2016 season, he led the Big West Conference in shutouts and shutouts per game (0.30).
The Rancho Cucamonga, California native spent the 2018 season with San Antonio FC of the USL Championship. He joins the Triumph after training with the club during preseason.
“We are very happy to welcome Armando to the Greenville Triumph,” said Assistant and Goalkeeping Coach Alex Blackburn. “Armando’s experience in the professional game and passion for the position is a great addition to our goalkeeping core and our roster as a whole.”
