Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph made an addition to the team Thursday, and it wasn’t a goalie.
The Triumph rolled out its official team vehicle, a fully restored 1961 Triumph TR3A convertible, at NOMA square alongside fans and community supporters ahead of the team’s inaugural home game against the Lansing Ignite on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Legacy Early College.
“We are proud to introduce the Triumph’s official team vehicle as part of our fan and community engagement initiatives,” said Joe Erwin, Chairman of the Ownership Group of Greenville Triumph. “The Triumph will have a consistent and active presence in the market with our players, and the car’s involvement in community events will keep us active year-round in and outside of our sport.”
Erwin worked with Tommy Pike Customs in Greenville to restore, rebuild and brand the classic car to match the Triumph brand. Erwin also scored a GOOOAL South Carolina vanity license plate.
The vehicle will appear in the Fan Fest area at all Triumph home games and will be highly visible at special events in the community throughout the year.
