Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph have added midfielder Max Hemmings to their inaugural season roster, pending league and federation approval.
The Wokingham, England native spent his collegiate career with Georgia State University, where he was team captain and was named All- Sun Belt First Team and Coaches All-Region Second Team in 2018. Last season, the midfielder totaled 13 points (4 goals and 5 assists) and led the Panthers with 59 shots, 28 shots on goal and 5 assists.
Hemmings spent time with the Triumph during their preseason training stint at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and has been training with the club while working to finish his degree at Georgia State.
“Max shows not only the ability and character, but of wanting to be a part of Greenville and its inaugural season,” said Head Coach John Harkes. “He brings technical, versatility to play in numerous positions and a great understanding of the game. We’re excited to have him.”
