Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph (3-4-2) are back home at Legacy Early College on Saturday, June 1, and ready to take on their Georgia rivals Tormenta FC (5-1-3) at 7:00 pm.
What to Watch For:
– Just Peachy: This will be the third time that the Southern rivals have played each other this season, this match being the second of four USL League One matches. Tormenta defeated Greenville 1-0 in League One’s inaugural match, but the Triumph got revenge with a 1-0 victory in the first round of the U.S. Open Cup in early May.
– Eyes on the table: This weekend presents a chance for Greenville to move back in to playoff contention. The Triumph sit fifth in the standings, two points out of a playoff spot in fourth. Tormenta FC currently sits second in the standings.
