Greenville, SC – Three Greenville Triumph SC players have been named to USL League One’s Team of the Week for Week 20 following a dominant performance against Toronto FC II.
Carlos Gomez (M) – Player of the Week – Gomez played an important role during the 3-1 victory over TFC II. The midfielder notched a pair of assists and completed 15 of 18 passes overall, and made six recoveries and two interceptions.
Jake Keegan (F) – Keegan moved into a tie for the league-lead with his ninth goal this season while also completing 20 of 22 passes and winning 4 of 6 duels against TFC II. This is third week in a row Keegan has received Team of the Week honors.
Dominic Boland (M) – Boland scored once and made three interceptions and six recoveries to bring three points back home to Greenville.
The Triumph continues to move up the League One Power Rankings, currently sitting at 1st, after a three game win-streak and four wins in the last five games. With 29 points, the Triumph sits at 5th in the playoff race, one point behind 4th seeded South Georgia Tormenta FC.
