Greenville, SC – Greenville Triumph SC has announced the mutual parting of ways with goalkeeper Armando Quezada.
“We appreciate Armando’s contributions to our club and wish him success in the next chapter of his career,” said Head Coach and Sporting Director John Harkes.
Quezada signed to the Triumph during March of 2019, having spent the 2018 season with USL Championship squad San Antonio FC. He spent his collegiate career at the University of California-Davis where he led the Big West conference in shutouts.
The Greenville Triumph is back at home this Saturday, August 17th at 7:00 PM EST to continue their playoff push and extend a three-game win streak. The team currently sits one point (29) below breaking into playoff position.
Gates open at 6:00pm and the first 1,000 kids (12 and under) to enter the game will receive a free Triumph pencil pouch as part of Back to School Night. Pre-game Fan Fest begins at 5:00pm with live music, food trucks and games. Happy Hour will begin at 5:30pm and will include $2 beers, sodas and water and a $5 hot dog, chips, and drink meal special.
