Fans won’t have to wait long for a a rematch of the 2019 League One Final that saw Greenville fall to North Texas SC, as the defending champions make their way to the Upstate on April 26th for the first of three matches between the clubs. Familiar match-ups will be meshed with new ones, as three expansion clubs have been added to the League One slate. Greenville will travel to Gillette Stadium for the first time to face New England II on April 11th, with Triumph SC hosting fellow newcomers Omaha and Inter Miami 2 in May to wrap up the first ten games of the regular season.
The summer months will see a mixture of home and away matches that includes a trip to Tucson, Arizona on July 25th. Richmond became the first club to claim the cup with a 1-0 home win last September. The teams will meet up April 18th and June 20th in Richmond before shifting south to the Upstate for a July 31st matchup.
The longest stretch of away matches comes in the latter third of the season, but features a match in neighboring Georgia on September 5th to round out the three game series against Tormenta FC. Following the club’s longest road swing of the season, Greenville will return home to face New England II on September 25th and close out the regular season a week later with a home match Inter Miami 2 on October 2nd.
