Greenville, SC – Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has re-signed local midfielder and Furman commit, Conor Dowler, to an academy contract for the 2020 season.
Conor Dowler, a 6’0″ midfielder at TL Hanna High in Anderson, plans to attend Furman University on a soccer scholarship this fall. Dowler played for CESA’s ECNL team throughout his high school career, which is the top tier of competition at the academy level. In addition to his CESA career, Dowler previously spent time with former NPSL club Greenville FC.
Dowler, who has been practicing with the team this summer, made an appearance during GTSC’s scrimmage against Charlotte on July 11th, netting an assist on the lone Triumph goal.
The Triumph take on the Richmond Kickers at home on Saturday, July 25 at 7pm. This match will be closed to the public, but fans can watch all the action on ESPN+.
