Greenville, SC – In an active effort to support organizations aimed at strengthening education and action related to social justice and racial equality, the Greenville Triumph will be auctioning special player-worn, pre-match jerseys from November 15th to November 22nd with all proceeds benefitting the Urban League of the Upstate. The special edition warm-up jerseys were part of a club-driven initiative from the team’s social justice committee.
The auction will be separated into four groups, all beginning on November 15th at 8:00 AM. Each group will feature five to six player-worn warmup tops each with a starting bid of $50. Bids will increase by $5 increments and will close on November 22nd between 8:00-9:00pm.
Fans can bid online here or by downloading the ‘DASH Auction’ app. In order to bid, fans must create an account with a username and password. Bidders will receive updates on bid status via the DASH Auction app, and winning bidders will be required to purchase the additional shipping charge.
In addition, fans will have a chance to win one blank warmup top through an entry-based raffle. One entry costs $5, five entries costs $10, twenty entries will cost $20 and 100 entries will cost $100.
Urban League of the Upstate: The mission of the National Urban League is to advance equity by empowering black and other underserved communities through advocacy, education and economic stability. Greenville Urban League was established in 1972, and in 1997, the name was changed to reflect the population served to Urban League of the Upstate. Today, the Urban League of the Upstate continues to support and advocate for the economic equality for African Americans by building strong and stable communities.
