WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club hits the road again for its first away match of the month on Sunday, July 3rd at 10:00 PM ET against FC Tucson. Both founding members of USL League One will meet for their first matchup this season.
Greenville continued its winning streak Wednesday night, topping North Carolina FC 3-1. This makes Greenville 3-0 in their last three matches and 5-1 in their last six. Jacob Labovitz tallied another goal in the midweek match against NCFC to give him his fifth in the last six matches. Allen Gavilanes and Jake Keegan also got on the board, showing the attacking prowess the Triumph can bring to Kino Stadium.
FC Tucson also faces a short week after taking a loss against Richmond on Wednesday night. Tucson currently sits last in the league standings at 11th recording 3 wins, 7 losses, and 2 draws in 2022. Before the loss to Richmond, Tucson upset the Chattanooga Red Wolves on the road, and the Arizona side will look to recapture that magic against another top of the table opponent in Greenville.
