WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club will meet the Richmond Kickers for the first time this season on Saturday. Greenville will travel to Richmond for a battle between the number one and number two in the league.
In a high-scoring midweek match, Greenville left Statesboro with a 5-5 draw and remained at the top of the league rankings on Wednesday. Now onto their third match in 8 days and second away match, Greenville will have to utilize a deep bench to keep the eleven on the pitch fresh to compete with a well-rested Richmond team.
Richmond is coming off a weeklong break after their most recent 1-1 draw against Charlotte. The Kickers are eager to dethrone Greenville, only 3 points behind the league leaders. A win for Richmond would move them up to the top of the table ahead of Greenville with a 7 or more-point goal differential. One match shy of Greenville, Richmond holds a 7-4-4 record this season.
