WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club returns to Legacy for a two-match home stretch. Greenville will face off against Union Omaha for their second matchup this season tomorrow night at 7:00 PM.
Greenville can sit comfortably at the top of the table following a two-match week resulting in three points on the road. Greenville served Richmond their fifth loss of the season and firmly asserted themselves at the top pf the League with a six-point lead.
This week the home side boasted three players on the Team of the Week including Jacob Labovitz as Player of the Week and newly appointed Golden Boot leader. Venton Evans and Allen Gavilanes both recorded a goal each last week and have proven important to the Greenville offense having scored a combined five goals in the last five matches.
Omaha will visit Triumph Stadium for the first-time this season hoping for their first win over Greenville in 2022. The Nebraska team sits towards the middle of the table at fourth with a 5-2-6 record. Omaha will enter its’ 14th League competition this Saturday, the least number of matches played, after an extended Open Cup Campaign pushed back their schedule.
