WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club’s Heroes Night match will feature many different aspects celebrating local heroes before and after the team lines up versus Tormenta tomorrow night.
Not much has changed since the two teams met last on July 13th resulting in the highest-scoring match ever in League One. Both squads have played two matches since then, but Greenville still sits at first in league standings and Tormenta at third. The home side should have a reserve of motivation to pull from, having not collected a win against the South Georgia team this season and coming off a painful draw in the series that saw the Triumph concede five goals in a shocking comeback by Tormenta.
Greenville has spent their week recalibrating after a hard-fought match against Union Omaha ended in a 0-0 draw. The team remains undefeated in their last eight matches and holds a 9-4-5 record this season.
Since their last meeting, Tormenta has recorded a 2-0 loss to Madison and a 1-0 win over NCFC. Although only two positions below Greenville, Tormenta is 6-5-6 this season and has eight points less than the league-leader.
