
Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph are set to begin their 2020 home slate next weekend, as the club’s home opener against the Richmond Kickers was announced today by the United Soccer League. Following their opening match on the road at Fort Lauderdale, the club will return home to take on the regional rival Richmond Kickers Saturday, July 25th, at 7:00 PM. Familiar voices Chris Mackowiak and Ross Devonport will call the match on ESPN+.
The Triumph have also announced that the match versus Richmond will be held without fans out of an abundance of caution and in line with current state regulations. Triumph leadership continues to be in contact with local health and governmental officials about the potential to open LEC Stadium to fans in a safe, responsible manner for subsequent home matches. Though the match will be played behind closed doors, fans will be able to watch the home opener and all Triumph matches on the popular ESPN+ platform.
