Greenville, SC – Greenville Triumph SC, in conjunction with USL League One, released the club’s 2019 regular season schedule today.
The inaugural League One season will kick off on March 29, 2019 and will run through October 5. The regular season will consist of 28 matches and will see Triumph SC play three matches versus eight of the other League One clubs while taking on Tormenta FC four times.
“This announcement marks another key moment in this club’s history,” said Chris Lewis, president of Greenville Triumph SC. “We are pleased with how our schedule has turned out and would like to thank our partners at Legacy Early College and the team at the League One office for their help and cooperation.”
Greenville will be a part of history as it opens its season in the first-ever League One match versus Tormenta FC on March 29 in Statesboro, Georgia. The Triumph will also wrap up the regular season in Statesboro on October 5.
Professional soccer’s return to Greenville will officially commence on April 6 when Lansing Ignite comes to the Upstate for the Greenville Triumph’s opening night. Kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m. at at Legacy Early College. More details will follow about the activities and events that will revolve around the Triumph’s opening night match.

Greenville is expected to travel more than 19,000 miles over the course of the 2019 season with the longest trip being out to Tucson, Arizona on September 24.
In addition to having the opportunity for supporters and fans to establish a true home field advantage with three consecutive home matches to start the season, the Triumph will also wrap up the regular season by playing three of its final five regular season games on the Legacy Early College pitch.
