This Saturday, July 30th we’re honoring local heroes during our match versus Tormenta FC for Heroes Night! The team will be wearing special patriotic warm-up jerseys courtesy of Budweiser that will be auctioned off through the DASH app to benefit Transport for Troops and Folds of Honor!

Our players are looking forward to being a part of the initiative and you have the chance to win your favorite players warm up kit! If you would like to be place a bid complete the instructions below. The auction runs from 6pm July 30^th to 12pm August 5th! 

The Folds of Honor is a non-profit organization committed to honoring the sacrifice and educating the legacy of fallen and disabled soldiers. The Folds of Honor has a 15-year history of supporting the families of fallen and disabled soldiers by providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of the brave individuals who sacrificed it all to keep our country safe. 

Transport For Troops exists to provide funding and strategic assistance for vehicle shipments to qualifying military service members in transition between duty assignments. They also aim to provide employment and financial assistance to veterans as well as soon-to-be separated service members transitioning to civilian life. 

How To DASH:

• Scan QR Code, text DASH to 66866, or download the DASH Auction app in the app store or google play store.
• Open the app after downloading it and set up an account.
• While setting up account, select the Greenville Triumph as one of your Favorite Teams.
  • If you don’t select the Triumph as a Favorite Team setting up, click on the profile icon in the bottom right then at the top of the page there is a favorite teams tab. From there you can add more teams.
• On the home tab, the Triumph logo will pop up under Favorite Teams. Click on the Greenville Triumph logo.
• Next, select the Triumph Heroes Night Auction and you will be able to see all of the jerseys up for auction. The auction will be visible on July 30^th @ 6 pm.

Other important information:

• The bidding starts at $50 with minimum increments of $5
• We will be auctioning off a jersey for every player on the Triumph roster.
• Winners will receive a message through their email and on the app after the auction has ended notifying them they have won.

Match will recognize Upstate military and first responders

Greenville, SC (July 13, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has announced their July 30th home match against South Georgia Tormenta FC will be designated as the club’s annual Heroes Night. The match, which will be presented by Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union and Lockheed Martin, kicks off at 7:00 PM on Saturday, 7/30. As in past years, the evening will see the club recognizing military members and first responders from across the Upstate.

Touch-a-Truck Event: from 5p-7p on Bramlett Rd. just outside the stadium gates, military and first responder vehicles will be on interactive display for fans

Warm-up Jersey Auction: the team will wear special patriotic warm-up jerseys courtesy of Budwesier that will be auctioned off through the DASH app to benefit Transport for Troops and Folds of Honor

Special Recognitions: Pre-match and in-match ceremonies will recognize various first responder and military members on the field, including a rendition of Taps and a halftime tug-of-war contest between the police and fire departments.

Water Bottle Giveaway: Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union will provide a free Triumph water bottle to the first 750 fans inside the stadium.

Additionally, many military and first-responder families will be in attendance thanks to ticket donations from Triumph corporate partners. The club will have special merchandise on sale, and select organizations will have informational booths on the stadium concourse.

Third Round match of 2022 U.S. Open Cup to be held in Greenville on April 20th

Greenville, SC (April 10, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club will host Major League Soccer’s Charlotte FC in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup later this month, the tournament announced today. The matchup was announced via a regionalized random draw last Friday.

Triumph SC entered the 2022 edition of the tournament in the second round, defeating the USL Championship’s Oakland Roots 2-0 at Triumph Stadium last week to advance. The third round of the bracket-style tournament featuring all tiers of American soccer teams is the first stage featuring clubs from Major League Soccer.

The matchup will take place at Triumph Stadium on Wednesday, April 20^th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available to purchase here.

New theme nights join popular platform matches; special ticket packs return

Greenville, SC (March 2, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has placed single-match tickets for all 2022 men’s home matches on sale, the club announced Wednesday. In addition, the club released their theme nights and promotional schedule for the 2022 season. In addition to 15 USL League One home matches, the club will host a U.S. Open Cup Second Round match on Thursday, April 7th.

Triumph SC also announced the return of popular platform matches Heroes Night, Pride Night and Triumph Over Cancer Night, as well as Fan Appreciation Night to close the home schedule out on October 8th. Two new theme nights join the fold, with Star Wars Night on Saturday, August 13th and 90’s Night on June 29th in a rare Wednesday home match for the club.

Returning for the 2022 season will be two popular ticket/food & beverage packages – The Dave & Buster’s Family 4 Pack, which features 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 slices of pizza and 4 Dave & Buster’s Power Cards for only $100, will be available for all Saturday home matches. Triumph will host the Oakland Roots on April 7

Greenville, SC (February 28, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club’s second round match of the U.S. Open Cup will take place on Thursday, April 7th at 7:00 PM, the club announced today. Greenville is one of seven League One clubs to draw an opponent from the USL’s top division in the second round of the tournament. Both leagues enter the bracket-style tournament after the first round, which is solely comprised of amateur and semi-professional clubs.

The tournament, which began in 1913, features teams from all amateur and professional leagues in the United States. Should Greenville advance beyond their second round matchup against Oakland, the club could travel to or welcome a Major League Soccer club in the next round.

Triumph SC has competed in one prior Open Cup – the 2019 edition of the tournament during the club’s inaugural season. They hosted fellow League One side South Georgia Tormenta FC in the second round, with Anderson native Cole Seiler scoring a late goal to seal a 1-0 win. GTSC welcomed the USL Championship’s Charleston Battery in the third round, leading 1-0 before allowing two late goals to the Battery in a loss. Charleston would lose to Atlanta United in the following round. Greenville was set to host New Mexico United in the 2020 tournament before its’ cancellation.

Triumph SC begins fourth season on Saturday, April 2nd against expansion side Fuego FC

Greenville, SC (February 24, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club’s fourth season is just over a month away, and the club has begun the sale of single match tickets to Opening Night on Saturday, April 2nd at 7:00 PM at Legacy Early College. The Triumph will welcome expansion side Central Valley Fuego FC to the Upstate for the club’s inaugural match.

Triumph SC’s full 2022 home schedule, which runs from April 2nd to October 8th, will see 15 matches in League One play and an early April home date in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against Oakland Roots SC. The club expects to put single-match tickets to all other matches on sale in the coming weeks.

“Playing in the U.S. Open Cup is opportunity our club doesn’t take for granted,” said vice chairman Doug Erwin. “Coach (John) Harkes is a passionate supporter of the tournament, having won the cup during his decorated playing career. It’s something our organization and our supporters really look forward to, and the excitement for the tournament is even greater this year after the COVID-induced hiatus.”

USL League One today announced the home openers for its inaugural 2019 regular season, with 10 teams set to play 28 games each from March 29-Oct. 6 before the League One Playoffs kick off the weekend of Oct. 11-13.

South Georgia Tormenta FC, the league’s first founding member, will host Greenville Triumph SC at 7 p.m. ET from Erk Russell Park in Statesboro, Georgia, for the league’s first game on March 29.

“It’s going to be an absolutely electric atmosphere,” said USL League One Senior Vice President Steven Short. “Not only is it the inaugural match in USL League One history, but also the first professional soccer match ever played in Statesboro, Georgia. This will be a moment that soccer fans throughout the region look back on with great memories – a day that will be talked about for years and generations to come. We’re all looking forward to March 29.”

The Triumph’s home opener features in the second weekend of the regular season as it hosts Lansing Ignite FC at 7 p.m. ET from Legacy Early College on April 6.

The entire 2019 League One regular-season schedule will be released next week. The 2019 campaign will conclude the weekend of Oct. 4-6, and the playoffs will consist of four teams, with the final match of the postseason set to take place from Oct. 17-21.
