Match will recognize Upstate military and first responders
Greenville, SC (July 13, 2022) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has announced their July 30th home match against South Georgia Tormenta FC will be designated as the club’s annual Heroes Night. The match, which will be presented by Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union and Lockheed Martin, kicks off at 7:00 PM on Saturday, 7/30. As in past years, the evening will see the club recognizing military members and first responders from across the Upstate.
Touch-a-Truck Event: from 5p-7p on Bramlett Rd. just outside the stadium gates, military and first responder vehicles will be on interactive display for fans
Warm-up Jersey Auction: the team will wear special patriotic warm-up jerseys courtesy of Budwesier that will be auctioned off through the DASH app to benefit Transport for Troops and Folds of Honor
Special Recognitions: Pre-match and in-match ceremonies will recognize various first responder and military members on the field, including a rendition of Taps and a halftime tug-of-war contest between the police and fire departments.
Water Bottle Giveaway: Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union will provide a free Triumph water bottle to the first 750 fans inside the stadium.
Additionally, many military and first-responder families will be in attendance thanks to ticket donations from Triumph corporate partners. The club will have special merchandise on sale, and select organizations will have informational booths on the stadium concourse.
