Boyce opens the scoring as Nour nets a brace in dominant home performance
Mauldin, SC (August 29, 2026) — Greenville Triumph SC delivered a dominant performance at GE Vernova Park on Saturday night, earning a 4–0 victory over FC Naples in USL League One action.
The Triumph opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Devin Boyce finished a broken play to give Greenville an early advantage.
“I saw the ball pop out to Tyler, and he saw me making a run,” Boyce said. “I ran in behind and found the finish with my left foot, so I was happy to get on the scoresheet.” Boyce’s goal gave Greenville a 1-0 lead heading into halftime, with the Triumph continuing to create chances and combine effectively in the attacking third.
Greenville continued to press after the break, doubling its advantage in the 53rd minute when Muba Nour found the back of the net. The Triumph remained organized defensively as FC Naples searched for a way back into the match, with Greenville ultimately keeping the visitors off the scoresheet.
Head coach Dave Dixon said the team’s willingness to compete throughout the match was one of the biggest positives.
“I felt like the group really battled and fought,” Dixon said. “We challenged them pregame to be fighters tonight, and no matter what happens, just keep fighting through it.”
Nour struck again in the 87th minute to complete his brace and put the Triumph ahead 3-0. Just one minute later, Azaad Liadi added a fourth goal to put the finishing touch on the victory.
The performance was also a reflection of the character Dixon has seen from the group throughout a challenging season. “I think it talks a lot about their character,” Dixon said. “This is a group that’s still fighting and still fighting for each other.”
The four-goal performance and clean sheet gave Greenville three points in front of its home crowd and an opportunity to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
The Triumph will look to carry that momentum into its next USL League One matchup against Chattanooga FC on September 5th on the road.
